Data & Analytics Specialist
We are seeking a Data & Analytics Specialist to design and deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that track performance, identify trends, and drive strategic decision-making for our client located in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will manage data models, analyze large datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytical solutions that optimize business outcomes.
This role is a contract to hire opportunity and will have a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom management-level reports and dashboards to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and enhance data models, ensuring data security, version control, and accuracy.
- Apply statistical and programmatic methods to analyze large datasets and uncover actionable insights.
- Support data onboarding and migration efforts by defining requirements, overseeing testing, and ensuring data governance.
- Establish and monitor campaign benchmarks, goals, and KPIs to track and optimize performance.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational and strategic analytics.
- Develop analytical solutions in areas such as lead prioritization, marketing mix modeling, market basket analysis, and customer lifetime value modeling.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other teams to enhance analytics capabilities and identify new opportunities.
- Quickly assess business needs, define functional specifications, and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Mentor junior team members, foster knowledge sharing, and review analytical work for quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Experience with data modeling and ETL development.
- Familiarity with modern analytics pipelines (LookML/dbt preferred).
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with R/Python is preferred.
