Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Aircraft Repairer Inspector without more than normal supervision. To meet the screen out element, applicants should document experience or show the ability to do the following: Inspecting aircraft systems and components, insuring maintenance work complies with regulations, conducting inspections of aircraft forms and records, and verifying work was completed using the correct methods, techniques and procedures. Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Physical effort: Must be able to climb on, stand, stoop, and crouch in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally items weighing up to 45 pounds.
Working Conditions: work is performed in adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated areas. Some work will be performed outdoors which will occasionally be under adverse conditions such as snow, wind, or rain.
