Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Benefits Coordinator for a prestigious client in the automotive industry. This position plays a crucial role in the administration of group benefits programs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and support for employees. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in benefits administration while working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and resolve benefits-related issues.
  • Ensure benefits programs align with corporate and HR strategies and comply with federal regulations.
  • Audit all benefit plans to ensure compliance and timely vendor payments.
  • Maintain and update enrollment documents, materials, and summary plan descriptions (SPDs).
  • Prepare correspondence, expense reports, presentations, and spreadsheets; edit for punctuation and grammar; coordinate and process all mail merge projects.
  • Manage general inquiries and complaints via phone, email, or in person, requiring knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Investigate claim issues and facilitate claim resolution with employees and carriers.
  • Process medical support orders.
  • Maintain information on the company’s benefits intranet site.
  • Coordinate and assist during acquisitions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for wellness initiatives.
  • Assist management in identifying opportunities for continual process improvement.
  • Support major projects such as open enrollment, system conversions, and plan updates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Benefits experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
