The SAP Materials Master Data Manager is responsible for the strategic management of materials-related data within SAP. * Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and IT teams to define and optimize materials master data requirements
* Act as the primary point of contact for all materials master data-related inquiries and issues across the business
Data Governance & Compliance:
* Develop and implement materials master data policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements
* Conduct regular audits and data cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and compliance
* Identify and address any data gaps or issues that affect business processes, including inventory management, procurement, and production planning
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience in SAP Materials Master Data Management or a related SAP functional role, preferably in a CPQ, manufacturing, or supply chain environment
* Hands-on experience managing materials master data in SAP (MM module)
* Knowledge of supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory management, and production planning
* Strong proficiency in SAP Materials Management (MM) module and materials master data structures
* Solid understanding of material master data governance, lifecycle management, and data quality principles
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage large volumes of data
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of materials data
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
