The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Reading and understanding control logic drawings, ladder diagrams, blueprints, electrical/electronic schematic diagrams, wire circuit drawings, and OEM drawings and specifications.
2) Operating EWS (engineering workstation) computer and human machine interfaces for the purpose of troubleshooting boiler controls.
3) Calibrating and replacing as necessary Programmable Logic Controllers for the demineralizer water plants and distributed control system components for the boiler and plant systems controls.4) Conducting regular inspections of flow meter recording, integrated flows, pressures, temperatures, levels, and analyzer readings (gas and water). 5)Tuning control loops (proportional, integral, and derivative) for automatic operation.
