Business Systems Analyst
Hansell Tierney is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with Workday expertise to support a forward-thinking and expanding organization. This position focuses on creating cost-efficient, adaptable, and reliable systems to meet business objectives while ensuring seamless data flow. The BSA will collaborate across departments with stakeholders and technical teams to enhance systems and processes.
Location: 3 days per week onsite, required

Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic partner in identifying and implementing improvements in business systems and workflows.
Align technology strategies with business goals to maximize efficiency and growth.
Provide insights and guidance on system planning, optimizations, and project execution.
Systems Planning and Development:
Engage in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), vendor coordination, and ongoing system support.
Regularly assess and suggest enhancements to existing and future technology solutions.
Oversee system implementations, ensuring effective deployment and adoption.
Work with third-party providers and internal teams to define technical and business requirements.
Manage business system projects, outlining data inputs, workflows, and outputs.
Create functional documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and process flowcharts.
Lead implementation efforts, including testing and validation of new systems or modifications.
Convert business needs into actionable system and software requirements.
Deliver training and ongoing support to system users and IT teams.
Systems Operations:
Evaluate, modify, and maintain system applications, including development, testing, and debugging.
Identify and resolve system performance issues, ensuring operational efficiency.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive solutions to mitigate system risks.
Monitor system performance and maintain service levels.
Safeguard security and confidentiality of data and systems.
Analysis, Reporting, & Business Intelligence:
Assist executives and teams with business analytics and data reporting.
Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, SSRS, and Excel (PowerPivot, advanced formulas, etc.).
Establish and maintain data definitions and reporting standards.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency in system-generated reports.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting a Workday ERP implementation in a BSA capacity.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management (or equivalent experience).
5-7 years of experience as an IT Business Systems Analyst.
Experience with ERP platforms (Workday, Dynamics AX, etc.) and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Strong proficiency in MS Office and business process analysis software.
Project or program management experience preferred.
Workday HCM and Payroll experience, along with UKG Ready, is a plus.
Familiarity with payroll and timekeeping processes in a midsized organization.
Skills & Competencies:
Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, both agile and waterfall.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Quick learner with the ability to take ownership of new systems and processes.

Estimated compensation: Range is between $95,000 and $120,000 per year.
