Education and Required Experience

Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 3-10 years industry experience preferred.

7 years plus industry experience in power generation.

Certified Steam Turbine or Nuclear technology training equivalent company is preferred.

Experience in installation, repair, or refurbishment of power generation equipment.

Essential Duties

Provide engineering expertise for project site work, including service, repair, installations, or fleet outages.

Advise on disassembly, repair, and assembly of power generation equipment and auxiliary systems; may support startup activities.

Support troubleshooting activities.

Work with design groups as directed by the Project/Site Manager.

Answer questions and requests for engineering information.

Assist the Project/Site Manager in project development.

Ensure technical requirements are met and addresses technical issues with sub-contractors and suppliers.

May assist project as site shift supervisor:

o Oversee site labor assigned to project activities.

o Manage shift activities and approves labor timesheets.

o Submit shift work activity reports and expense reports.

o Coordinate shift activities with the Project/Site Manager and notify them of issues impacting schedule or costs.
