Job Summary:

  • Collaborate remotely with a team of product designers, product managers, researchers, and developers to create user-centric copy, including navigation, empty and error states, onboarding, and other UX elements in the end-to-end digital experience
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a content style guide and best practices for consistency across all digital touch points.
  • Participate in user research and leverage data-driven insights, including analytics and users' feedback, to enhance content effectiveness and user engagement
  • Collaborate remotely with legal and business strategy teams to ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards for content
  • Partner with the broader content team to integrate UX writing into overall content design goals
  • Adapt efficiently to changing project timelines and/or requirements, demonstrating a proactive approach to content
  • Develop and document content and information architecture, ensuring smooth user flows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant writing experience for digital audiences, experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is a plus
  • Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive UX writing samples
  • Understanding of Web Accessibility Content Guidelines (WCAG) and writing accessible content
  • Experience with a content style guide preferred, contributing to its creation is a plus
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Microsoft 365, Jira and other design tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
