Senior Financial Analyst-Remote Contract-to-Hire

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 3-month remote contract to hire opportunity working EST hours. Candidate will be responsible for accounting and transactional research and analysis, assisting with the coordination of the annual external audit, completion of financial surveys, various month-end closing duties, account reconciliation preparation and review, assistance with internal and external financial reporting, and participation in the annual budgeting process.

Required Qualifications of the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 3 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and application to healthcare operations
  • Understanding of project cost tracking, and reporting of project budget, actuals, and forecast
  • Understanding of capital versus opex (what can be capitalized versus expensed)
  • Understanding of fixed assets and impact to amortization/depreciation
  • Must be located in one of the following states since this role is contract to hire. * Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, * Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, Wyoming.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Conducts financial analysis on a variety of different types of financial transactions

• Research accounting/reporting/compliance issues as needed

• Apply financial accounting standards to specific transactions/situations/scenarios

• Maintain a high degree of accuracy, transparency and integrity in the preparation of financial

information

• Be an active participant in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process

• Works well under pressure and maintains quality of detailed work while meeting competing

deadlines

• Work with other leaders on various finance related special projects and ad hoc requests

• Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity to promote creative problem solving.

• Maintains organizational policy and procedure, including rules of conduct.

• Demonstrates knowledge of process improvement principles and applies appropriately to

improvement activities.
