Job Summary:

A non-profit is seeking a seasoned and innovative Senior Membership Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Membership Recruitment & Engagement: Drive membership growth by developing and implementing recruitment strategies that attract new members and foster a strong sense of community and commitment.
  • Campaign Development: Lead the creation and execution of cutting-edge membership campaigns, collaborating closely with marketing to deliver impactful, resonant content within the AEC industry.
  • Member Relations: Serve as the main liaison for members, proactively addressing inquiries and sharing updates about initiatives, events, and resources that align with AEC Unites' mission.
  • Event Management: Oversee the planning and coordination of engaging events, such as webinars, workshops, and conferences, ensuring they are impactful and align with AEC Unites' goals.
  • DEI Leadership: Actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all membership initiatives, collaborating with teams to integrate DEI principles across programming and communications.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Manage and analyze membership data to inform recruitment strategies, identify trends, and continually enhance the membership experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of experience in membership management, preferably within the nonprofit or association sectors.
  • Proven track record in membership recruitment and developing successful campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in relationship management.
  • Ability to think creatively and produce engaging, relevant content.
  • Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficiency in membership management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
