Job Summary:

A non-profit is seeking a seasoned and innovative Senior Membership Manager to join their team. This individual will have the unique opportunity to grow and develop within the role, gaining greater responsibility and influence as the organization continues to expand and evolve. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in membership management, a strategic approach to recruitment, and a passion for strengthening member relationships and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Membership Recruitment & Engagement: Drive membership growth by developing and implementing recruitment strategies that attract new members and foster a strong sense of community and commitment.
• Campaign Development: Lead the creation and execution of cutting-edge membership campaigns, collaborating closely with marketing to deliver impactful, resonant content within the AEC industry.
• Member Relations: Serve as the main liaison for members, proactively addressing inquiries and sharing updates about initiatives, events, and resources that align with AEC Unites' mission.
• Event Management: Oversee the planning and coordination of engaging events, such as webinars, workshops, and conferences, ensuring they are impactful and align with AEC Unites' goals.
• DEI Leadership: Actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all membership initiatives, collaborating with teams to integrate DEI principles across programming and communications.
• Data-Driven Strategy: Manage and analyze membership data to inform recruitment strategies, identify trends, and continually enhance the membership experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in membership management, preferably within the nonprofit or association sectors.
• Proven track record in membership recruitment and developing successful campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in relationship management.
• Ability to think creatively and produce engaging, relevant content.
• Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in membership management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
