The Talent Development Facilitator is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs across all departments with the organization. - Deliver learning programs across all business lines, including onboarding, technical skills, compliance, and soft skills training.
- Lead interactive and engaging learning programs that cater to various learning styles.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods (e.g., lecture, group discussion, demonstration, eLearning) to maximize learner engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with Talent Development team members to ensure learning content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs.
- Coordinate with department leaders and subject matter experts to tailor learning programs to specific team requirements.
- Support the Talent Development team in managing the logistics and scheduling of learning programs.
- Collect and analyze feedback from learners and their managers to continuously improve learning programs.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in the delivery of learning content and adult learning techniques.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the learning experience and recommend training approaches.
- Evaluate learner performance during and after learning programs, providing constructive feedback to support ongoing development
- Assess the effectiveness of learning programs through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Report on learning outcomes and make recommendations for adjustments to learning content or methods.
- Act as a mentor and coach to team members, helping them apply what they've learned to their roles.
- Performs job duties in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors under the rules and regulations set by the National Credit Union Administration, the State of Florida, and any applicable State laws for financial centers located in other States.
- Complies with Reg E, BSA, OFAC, and CIP requirements such as reporting suspicious or unusual activity to manager.
- Fully supports in actions and words First Commerce's Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Service Standards.
- Attends meetings timely and as required; reports to work as scheduled and adheres to First Commerce's dress code.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of principles of adult learning
- Working knowledge of live and virtual facilitation
- Working knowledge of live and eLearning instructional design
- Ability to build relationships effectively and quickly, and support team member development at all levels and across different functions
- Excellent project management, planning and analytical skills; ability to influence through data-driven recommendations
- Poised professional with excellent communication skills with a focus on facilitating challenging discussions and navigating difficult conversations
- Broad experience/knowledge of best practices in team member engagement and goal achievement, with particular emphasis in banking industry a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree. Exceptional candidates with a minimum of a high school diploma and credit union experience may be substituted for education.
- 3-5 years of experience in training facilitation, with a proven track record of delivering effective learning programs.
- Experience in the finance industry a plus.
- APTD Credential a plus.
