The URUS LATAM Training & Sales Development Specialist will play a key role in developing and delivering impactful sales and technical bovine training programs, most prominently within Alta and GENEX, that are critical to enhancing the skills, knowledge, and confidence of our employees. This role will focus on both sales' effectiveness and technical proficiency, equipping employees with the tools they need to drive business success.

In this role, you will collaborate with key commercial sales team leaders, ensuring training programs align with strategic priorities across regional markets. You will also provide post-training coaching and development support to ensure the successful application of learning.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be proficient in all 3 languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese) and willing to travel (up to 75%) within the US, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Training Delivery and Facilitation:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions in various formats, including in-person, virtual, and online, to meet the diverse needs of employees across different regions.
  • Customize training delivery based on audience needs and brand preferences, adjusting content, pacing, and activities to suit different knowledge levels, learning preferences, and roles.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods such as hands-on exercises, group discussions, case studies, role-playing, and simulations to maximize engagement and reinforce key learning concepts.
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness during sessions and adjust strategies as needed to ensure learning objectives are met and participants are actively engaged.
  • Provide post-training follow-up, including coaching, answering questions, and offering additional resources to support the application of newly learned skills.

Training Strategy and Curriculum Development:

  • Collaborate with the Training Manager, Training Coordinator, and other stakeholders to develop and implement training programs that align with URUS’ business goals and priorities.
  • Keep training content up-to-date by regularly refreshing materials to reflect changes in sales strategies, technical advancements in bovine management, and industry trends.
  • Design and implement a blended learning approach that combines e-learning, virtual, and in-person training to accommodate different learning styles and provide employees with flexible options.

Sales and Technical Knowledge Development:

  • Equip employees with both sales and technical knowledge, empowering them to make informed decisions and improve market impact.
  • Develop tools, resources, and techniques that help sales teams integrate data-driven decision-making into their bovine management consultations, boosting their effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to create and update technical training materials that reflect new innovations in bovine management and ensure employees are consistently equipped with the latest knowledge.
  • Foster a culture of peer-to-peer learning through workshops, team challenges, and collaborative forums where employees can share ideas, solve problems together, and learn from one another.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and report on training participation, performance, and outcomes to measure the impact of training initiatives on employee performance, knowledge retention, and business results.
  • Use data analytics to identify key trends, success factors, and areas for improvement in training, providing actionable insights to inform future program development.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on training outcomes, highlighting successes, identifying skills gaps, and recommending improvements or adjustments to training programs.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to evaluate the correlation between training participation and business outcomes such as improved performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
  • Establish clear KPIs to measure the success of training programs, focusing on metrics like employee productivity, sales results, customer outcomes, and retention rates.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Build strong relationships with employees, managers, and global business leaders to understand training needs, gather feedback, and ensure training initiatives are effectively meeting business objectives.
  • Actively seek feedback from training participants and key stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously refine the training approach.
  • Work closely with URUS People team and technical teams to align training initiatives with broader business objectives and ensure consistency across regions and teams.
  • Stay informed on emerging training trends and technologies, driving continuous improvement by integrating innovative approaches into training methods.
  • Engage with external training partners and industry thought leaders to bring fresh perspectives, new methodologies, and best practices into URUS’ training programs, ensuring the organization maintains its leadership position in training excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of bovine industry experience REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese languages REQUIRED
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs and methods (in person, e-learning, etc.)
  • Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to analyze data, provide actionable insights, and track KPIs to evaluate training effectiveness.
