Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a top construction management firm in the NY Metro Area. The Project Engineer is responsible for handling RFI’s, submittals, meeting minutes, and paperwork associated with the project.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist with project control activities including project document management, and RFI tracking, contract document review.
  • Assist in changes to scope, prepare estimates and negotiate contract changes.
  • Monitor contract implementation, quality of work and materials.
  • Inspect task execution in accordance with the plans and specifications.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain weekly and monthly project work plans for scope, budget, schedule, and safety objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience on projects valued above $10 million.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related program.
  • Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and the review of payments.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office.

Salary: $85,000-$110,000
