Our IT organization is seeking a Telecom Billing Analyst with Telecom operational & billing experience. The focus of this position includes analyzing telecommunication services, administrating our telecom expense management tool, research telecommunications cost savings opportunities, and handling month-end close procedures for the telecom department.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to review and manage existing Telecom billing and contracts, support contract renewal negotiations, assist in streamlining the contract process.
- Responsible for working with Network, Telecom & Acquisition teams to manage Telecom expense following the execution of MACD related changes.
- Review and manage Telecom service and contracts affiliated with stock acquisitions; identify and evaluate cost savings opportunities.
- Ensure proper recognition of Telecom billing (i.e., voice services, fax services & data services) within LHC financials leveraging our Telecom Expense Management Solution (Telecom Profile Tool) as the catalyst to provide accurate information to Accounts Payable.
- Ownership of data management related to LHC Group Network & Telecom inventory in our Telecom Expense Management Solution (Telecom Profile Tool).
- Provide month-end reports for telecommunication services enterprise wide to illustrate the cost per agency & socialize insights/analytics by agency to help LHC Group identify possible cost savings and/or telephony operating model opportunities.
- Identify and suggest improvements specifically around the Telecom Billing process & telecom expense management solution (Telecom Profile Tool). Work with Network, Telecom & Acquisition teams to implement process & tool enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS NEEDED:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant experience; Telecom Expense Management experience
- Must be able to review/evaluate telecom contracts, inventory, and invoice information to confirm accurate billing and identify billing discrepancies, make recommendations
- Proficient in identifying, evaluating, and executing cost saving opportunities
- Proficient knowledge regarding voice and data service types
- Ability to understand and interpret carrier CSR’s
- Complete understanding of telecom vendor billing dispute process, working knowledge of carrier portals
- Strong relationship management skills to interact with key internal & external stakeholders at all levels regarding billing issues
- Strong attention to detail, self-driven and managed, excellent organizational skills, proficient in Excel Pivot Tables & V-Lookup’s, ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
