The role of the Senior Data Analytics Manager is to work closely with leaders across the company to support and implement high quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures using advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer

Qualifications:

1. Educational: Minimum of a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field.

2. Travel: Travel may be required for business purposes. If so, the employee must have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which they work and a satisfactory driving record.

3. Work Experience:

  • At least 10 15 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data.
  • A minimum of two years within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience and proficiency with the following tools/programs:
    • Programming skills with querying languages SQL, Python, R, SAS, etc.
    • Big data tools: Teradata, Aster, Hadoop, etc.
    • Testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target.
    • Data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Raw, chart.js, etc.
    • ETL tools: SSIS, Blendo, or Stitch.
    • Adobe Analytics and other analytics tools.
    • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint
    • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
    • Strong experience with data analysis techniques: Regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, Factor analysis and Time series analysis.
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
  • Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks and models.
  • Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc.
  • Experience writing advanced SAS code statements, models, and macros.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
  • Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner across the organization to share data and analytics insights to drive compliance control and remediation efforts.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
  • Collaborating with the business, technology & pricing strategy experts to ensure the models developed accurately represent the business environment and that model results are actionable.
  • Support the design of the future state of Pricing tools, data, and processes.
  • Create presentations that describe model results and recommendations to senior executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Sustain a structured method of gathering business feedback on data science output in order to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure all HIPAA regulations are adhered.
  • Follows all Agency policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
