Assistant Project Manager
Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (Residential/Commercial)
Pay range: Commensurate with experience
Reports to: Project Manager Team
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be detail oriented
- Self-starter that can work independently
- Must be organized and able to work at a fast pace
- Must enjoy interacting with people
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with BuilderTrend, Procore, AutoCAD, and Planswift is a plus
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manage, organize, schedule, and reply to incoming invitations to bid
- Communicate and follow up with clients about specific projects and their goals.
- Read and understand design/construction drawings and specifications.
- Assist in the contract review process, specifically focusing on scope of work responsibilities.
- Preparation of submittals and closeout documentation.
- Review plan changes and submit Request for Information (RFI’s) as directed by the Project Manager.
- Document, coordinate, and communicate any project change orders to ensure accurate and timely billings.
- Ensure all job files are maintained and complete in proper programs.
- Generate invoices for clients based on work performed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
