The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking a Full-Time Purchasing Manager to report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role is responsible for overseeing product ordering across all departments, including fulfilling internal requisitions, receiving deliveries, and assisting with sourcing items as needed. The Purchasing Manager will collaborate with each department to establish appropriate par levels and will be responsible for training staff on the procurement system. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a clean and organized storeroom while ensuring the security of company assets. The Purchasing Manager will also manage the daily operations and ordering for the Wine Shop.

The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking a Full-Time Purchasing Manager to report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role is responsible for overseeing product ordering across all departments, including fulfilling internal requisitions, receiving deliveries, and assisting with sourcing items as needed. The Purchasing Manager will collaborate with each department to establish appropriate par levels and will be responsible for training staff on the procurement system. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a clean and organized storeroom while ensuring the security of company assets. The Purchasing Manager will also manage the daily operations and ordering for the Wine Shop.
Some Specific Duties Of The Purchasing Manager Include
- Oversees the receipt and inspection of all goods to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with club standards.
- Maintains and updates cost and vendors in procurement system.
- Monitors purchasing trends and collaborates with the CFO to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Completes monthly inventory of General Storeroom area and completes inventory reports for all inventoried departments.
- Analyzes purchasing data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Checks invoices, codes them to each department and turns them into Accounts Payable in a timely manner.
- Assists with additional purchasing, inventory, and operational tasks as required to support club functions and events.

- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar leadership role.
- Knowledge of local distributers, food & beverage products, ordering and receiving.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Must have a current Maricopa County food handler’s card and a state certified liquor training certificate.
- Proficient in using retail management software and POS systems (knowledge of Jonas a plus).
- High-level understanding building new purchasing or procurement department or organizations systems of procedure (SOP) or process or procedures (P&P).
- Knowledge of Backbar and My Club Wine preferred.
- 5 years of Purchasing Manager experience preferred.
- 40 hours per week
- Tuesday – Saturday; 7:00am – 4:00pm (flexible schedule as needed)
