Senior Human Resources Business Partner
Job Summary: The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with leadership across the designated New York regions to drive alignment between business priorities and workforce strategies. As a key advisor, the Sr. HRBP will focus on developing and executing people initiatives that support employee retention, performance optimization, and foster greater engagement. A deep understanding of the region's financial position, workforce trends, company culture, and competitive environment is essential for success in this role.
*This is a hybrid position, with occasional site visits required to New York facilities and travel across the boroughs.
Responsibilities:
- HR Program Leadership: Leads the execution of new HR initiatives and programs, ensuring they are effectively tailored to meet the unique needs of the business while supporting broader organizational goals.
- Transformational Change Management: Advises and guides leadership through key organizational changes, ensuring successful transitions and minimal disruption by addressing the people aspects of transformation.
- Strategic People Management: Utilizes data-driven insights to advise leadership on the best people strategies, supporting business decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Collaborates with management to design and implement initiatives that boost employee satisfaction and long-term retention across the business.
- Collaboration with Senior Leadership: Holds regular discussions with senior leadership to identify HR-related challenges, providing actionable recommendations to resolve issues and support business success.
- Workforce & Talent Development: Partners with business leaders to create and refine workforce plans, focusing on talent development, career progression, and succession planning to build future leadership.
- Leadership Development & Performance Enhancement: Identifies areas of improvement within leadership teams and collaborates with senior leaders to implement targeted development plans aimed at improving overall leadership performance.
- Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives: Drives the company’s D&I strategy by creating and implementing programs that promote career growth, diverse talent development, and equal opportunity for advancement.
- Compliance & Legal Oversight: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and industry standards, ensuring the business remains compliant with regulations while mitigating potential risks.
- Program Analysis & Reporting: Continuously evaluates the impact of HR programs, preparing detailed reports and presenting data-driven findings to senior management for decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- PHR, SPHR, or similar certifications are a plus.
- 8+ years in Human Resources with expertise across multiple HR functions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership on complex HR initiatives and lead organizational change.
- Working knowledge of HR functions such as talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, or change management.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce is preferred.
- Ability to travel within New York State as needed.
The salary range for this position is: $140,000 - $170,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
