<>Role Overview</>

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, developing relationships, and increasing market share within your designated region. This role requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, identifying new business opportunities, and representing the company at trade shows and industry events.

<>Key Responsibilities</>

  • Serve as the main contact for customer accounts, overseeing communication, sales strategies, and relationship management.
  • Expand the company s presence within the assigned territory by securing new business and strengthening existing client partnerships.
  • Promote and sell upholstery and textile products, ensuring seasonal and annual growth.
  • Analyze industry trends, track competition, and identify emerging market opportunities.
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Directors, the CEO of Sales, and Fabric Designers, to align sales strategies with product development.
  • Play a strategic role in business growth, managing expenses, and developing sales plans.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and networking events to strengthen industry connections.
  • Travel as needed (50%) while maintaining a flexible remote work schedule.

<>Qualifications & Skills Required</>

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Textiles, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of B2B sales and/or marketing experience in retail or specialty products.
  • Industry Knowledge: Background in upholstery, home goods, luxury products, furniture, or textiles is a strong advantage.
  • Sales & Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop client relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal skills to persuade and build trust with customers.
  • Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Capable of working independently to achieve sales targets.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Lusha, ZoomInfo).
  • Physical Requirement: Ability to lift and carry sample bags up to 70 lbs.
