- Work closely with business users to gather, document, and translate reporting and data requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain reports using Microsoft SQL (T-SQL), SSRS, Power BI, and Excel to provide actionable insights.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, validate results, and support decision-making.
- Assist in data mapping, validation, and balancing efforts for third-party integrations.
- Maintain a master report inventory and track outstanding report requests.
- Review and validate report accuracy before business validation and production release.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within reporting workflows.
- Support the transition of legacy reports to modernized standardized formats.
- Document business and technical processes related to data reporting and analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshooting efforts, working closely with developers.
- Maintain data repositories, queries, and report automation solutions in Azure DevOps.
- Assist with AI-related projects, including Snowflake Document AI, to automate document processing and data extraction.
- Follow reporting and develop standards to ensure consistency and usability.
- Adapt to shifting priorities while managing multiple business requests.
Desired Competencies:
- 3+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, with familiarity in foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, escrow, loan boarding, or investor reporting.
- Experience working with ICE Mortgage Technology (Encompass, MSP, or related tools) is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL (T-SQL) and report development in SSRS, Power BI, or Excel.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, track requests, and meet deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams, developers, and business users.
- Interest in AI technologies such as Snowflake Document AI, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or TFS is a plus.
- Familiarity with SharePoint administration or scripting (PowerShell, VBA, Python, or jQuery) is a plus.
- Familiarity with managed file transfer system (GoAnywhere)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of mortgage servicing experience (ICE Mortgage Technology preferred).
