Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initiate and complete projects related to improving capacity, reducing off specification product, and eliminating downtime.
  • Support design and development of new processes.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot plant and equipment issues as they arise.
  • Provides thorough instruction for successful implementation of process changes.
  • Participate on EHS leadership team and lead by example by conforming to requirements and driving continuous improvement within the plant.
  • Maintain all records and procedures in designated areas to comply with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Continue personal development by visiting customers to better understand the use of our products as well as continuing education in management\engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, and team player.
  • Minimum 5 years experience within the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with the full stack of process control components and programming. Experience in creating process control systems and setting standards for maintenance and implementing enhancements.
  • Good time management, organizational, problem solving, project management and decision making skills.
