The Service Operations Specialist ensures the seamless support and operation of the primary OSS/BSS system. This role is essential in maintaining accurate reporting, providing reliable Tier 1 technical support, and supporting billing processes. By contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, the Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of our services. The Specialist helps to enhance departmental operations and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Business Program Manager. This position is located on-site.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT NECESSARILY BE LIMITED TO:
Data Reporting: Prepare and update pivot table reports weekly, monthly, and as needed to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely data insights.

Billing Support: Serve as a backup for billing functions, handling the process with precision and adherence to strict deadlines.

Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 system support to internal users, effectively resolving technical issues while minimizing the need for repetitive instruction.

Communication: Engage with a diverse group of employees, delivering technical and functional information in an accessible way.

Data Management: Utilize SQL queries and advanced Excel features, such as pivot tables and data filtering, to fulfill various reporting requirements.

Documentation: Maintain and update system management processes, support resolutions, and reporting workflows to promote clarity and knowledge continuity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science) or equivalent technical training is required, with a preference for experience in telecom or related industries preferred

Two years of experience in a similar support or reporting role, ideally within a telecom or service industry environment, with demonstrated experience in SQL and Excel data functions.

Proficient in SQL for data querying and advanced Excel, including creating pivot tables and formulas.

Accurate in billing and reporting tasks, consistently meeting deadlines.

Engages effectively with diverse employees and communicates complex information clearly.

Skilled in troubleshooting issues and quickly adapting to changes in systems.

Committed to keeping up with software updates and actively pursuing self-learning opportunities to stay current with evolving software systems and related technologies.
