We are seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to drive the vision, execution, and continuous improvement of our customer business systems. In this role, you will oversee a team of product owners, ensuring our business systems deliver service excellence, operational efficiency, and seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to a team of customer business system product owners.
- Develop and implement business system strategies and enhancements that promote service excellence, system flexibility, and continuous availability.
- Analyze business objectives and drive strategic decisions to optimize system use within Plan Operations.
- Partner with Customer Engagement and Customer Experience teams to prioritize, define, and implement system enhancements and process improvements.
- Oversee a team managing requirements for key customer business system tools, including benefits administration, vendor interfaces, retirement planning, employer/member tools, annual enrollment, and customer relationship management.
- Act as a business system consultant, providing expert guidance on system functionality.
- Foster a high-performance culture by developing, coaching, and mentoring team members to become future leaders.
- Promote an inclusive and diverse workplace, encouraging diverse perspectives and experiences.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience: 8+ years in project management, business systems implementation, or technology assessments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing, developing, and motivating professional teams.
- Strategic & Tactical Thinking: Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, anticipate challenges, and drive effective solutions.
- Process Improvement: Track record of driving efficiencies and organizational improvements.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to build credibility with leaders, peers, and teams through effective communication and decision-making.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in benefits administration and employee benefits is a plus.
