Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the company wide data management process and bring innovative ideas to a growing analytical department within in the beer industry. The Data Analyst intern will assist the Director of Revenue Growth by implementing companywide dashboards across multiple departments. This position will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production and Finance, and to develop, refine, and monitor results of initiatives designed to drive growth.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in building, enhancing and streamlining PowerBI reports that help team members and internal stakeholders understand the performance of their business and identify action points.
  • Bring innovation and continuously improve data platforms, data cleansing and testing, analysis and visualization techniques and solutions.
  • Create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports displaying key metrics through data review and analysis.
  • Consolidate large quantities of data analyses (industry, sales, forecasting, pricing) from multiple sources to be presented to stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on business trends and results, translate and communicate results to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve team performance and measurement in the future.
  • Provide input on ongoing projects and initiatives to reach business targets; run and assess your proposed actions in collaboration with the relevant teams.
  • Candidates should be self-starters and have the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, mathematics, or other quantitative field
  • Process oriented and systematic thinker
  • Candidates must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Python/SQL a plus
  • Leadership of ideas and business opportunities
  • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • High level of organization and detail-orientation
  • Strong work-ethic and willingness to take initiative
  • Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
