What You ll do:

We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Your role will encompass accounting, budgeting, managing tax payments, performing internal audits, and providing consultancy to managers for cost and revenue analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing month end reports
  • Completing monthly and quarterly tax returns
  • Prepare state quarterly and annual statements by assembling data.
  • Comply with state and federal tax filing requirements by studying regulations, adhering to requirements, and advising senior management on required actions.
  • Preparing monthly management and group reporting packs
  • Responding to financial inquiries
  • Month end reconciliations (debtors, creditors, bank accounts, intercompany accounts, etc.)
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and/or databases to record, monitor and compile information
  • Conducting internal audits such as salary and wage reviews
  • Assisting in the audit compliance and internal control responsibilities
  • Provision of expert assistance to the CFO in the maintenance and development of financial reporting models
  • Managing the delivery of monthly financial statements to strict deadlines

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
  • Excellent math skills
  • Experienced in bookkeeping and use of accounting software
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Experienced in MS Office
  • Ability to handle and protect confidential documents
  • BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • CPA Certification is plus
  • Open to Atlanta as a location.
