Summary:

The main function of a Supply Chain Analyst is to define, build, manage and measure global asset management. A typical Supply Chain Analyst may be responsible for buying goods and services, and analtse performance of suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
  • Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
  • Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization
  • Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
  • Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
  • Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
  • Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to supply chain
  • SQL or Diquery
  • Asset Management

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Dashboarding - Tableau Experience

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required.
