Quality Assurance Tester
The Specialist, QA Tester ensures the quality and functionality of client's business systems by executing comprehensive testing procedures. This role involves identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with development teams, and supporting quarterly releases to maintain high-quality standards and enhance the service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the QA Testing Manager, Product Leads, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure test plans align with business and system requirements.
- Document, track, and manage defects using appropriate tracking tools, working closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases and documentation, assisting in the creation of test reports for review.
- Provide testing insights and feedback during project meetings to improve system performance.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to testing processes for improved efficiency and quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software testing, business systems implementation, or project management, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to analyze systems and provide well-informed recommendations.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment, anticipate challenges, and adjust priorities accordingly.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and adjust schedules as needed.
- Collaboration: Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams at all levels.
