ECS is seeking a Graphic Designer to work in our Arlington, VA office.
ECS is seeking a Graphic Designer to work on the Communications Team creating visual text and imagery through desktop publishing, graphic design, and some video/animation projects. Duties will include a broad scope of tasks including, but not limited to working with OIG staff to develop easy-to-understand infographics, formatting reports for posting to the external website, producing both digital and printed publications, 508 Compliance formatting, layout and design of printed publications, such as brochures, posters and PowerPoint presentations. Some editing, consultation with clients, posting content to our external website, and writing may be required.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in the field of graphic design or communications.
- Experience writing/editing, designing and producing original corporate and/or government print
- Degree in visual communications, graphic design, or a related program area.
- Required computer software skills: Expertise in PC-based Adobe Creative Cloud -- in particular
Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to format reports and graphics to be 508 Compliant.
- Ability to post content to both Drupal and SharePoint web platforms.
- Excellent visual stylistic sense (balance, tone, placement) with an understanding of basic design
- Strong creative thinking and concept development skills including the ability to devise original
- Ability to translate complex information into powerful and persuasive images and infographics.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced deadlinedriven
through completion.
- Detail oriented.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Portfolio required with examples of print and online original graphics.
