As an Account Executive, you will be integral in driving Botkeeper's growth within the B2B SaaS accounting vertical. This role involves more than just closing deals; it's about creating value through selling both our products and services. You will own the account throughout its lifecycle, focused on acquiring new business as well as identifying opportunities for account upgrades.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Mastering Botkeeper’s sales techniques and strategies
  • Obtain certification in and utilize company tools and processes
  • Skillfully handling both inbound sales and proactive outbound/ABM efforts
  • Identifying and nurturing leads and prospects through to successful deal closure
  • Conduct needs assessments calls with specific prospects as assigned
  • Engaging prospects with compelling online product demonstrations
  • Employing a consultative approach to understand customer needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Meet quantitative metrics on calls, emails, demos, proposals and other KPIs
  • Forecasting your sales performance
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and metrics

Qualifications:

  • Robust communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A deep passion for sales and a drive to exceed goals
  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven experience in achieving and surpassing sales quotas
  • An intrinsic sense of motivation
  • The ability to deal with objections
  • Ample experience hitting or exceeding targets in a B2B SaaS or related field sales role
  • Preferred: Knowledge of accounting practices and systems, Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with accounting practices and systems/experience selling to CPAs/Accountants
  • HubSpot CRM/Sales Tools experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related program

Salary Range:

  • $60,000-$70,000 base with an additional $60,000-$70,000 in variable potential
