Dean's Assistant
Full-Time (10-months), Non-Exempt, Category 4
Salary Range: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
Reports to: High School Dean of Student Life
The Dean's Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Office of Student Life in the efficient and effective operation of the high school. This position involves administrative duties, student support, and communication coordination within the school community. The Dean's Assistant serves as a liaison between the Dean of Students, faculty, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
Professional Responsibilities And Duties
Executes all duties in a timely manner
Helps maintain a collegial, educational environment throughout the campus
Maintains a ‘team player’ attitude and willingly collaborates.
Maintains diligent communication with the Office of Student Life.
Maintains cordial, professional relationships with all students, staff, parents, and community members.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Assist in enforcing school policies and disciplinary procedures in collaboration with the Dean(s) of Student Life.
Coordinate communication between the Dean of Students, faculty, students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Attend meetings as directed by the administration.
Is willingly involved in the OCS community outside of school hours.
Faithfully completes reasonable extra duty assignments (substitute duties as needed, event supervision, advisory, etc.).
Abides by the spirit and policies in the OCS Faculty Handbook
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirement - Bachelor's Degree.
