- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
- Maintain, reconcile, and analyze accounting records and reports related to receipts and expenditures of the court.
- Responsible for the accuracy and accountability of monies received and disbursed by the court.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain detailed procurement files which are subject to financial audits.
- Perform joint reconciliation of cash drawers and prepare Treasury deposits.
- Use of wide range of technology including Microsoft Office, Judiciary and Treasury accounting applications, and cash management tools.
- Adhere to the Guide to Judiciary Policy, Treasury regulations, and the court's internal control process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Applicants must be U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
- Employees are required to use the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) for payroll deposit.
- The selected candidate will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
- Employees of the United States District Court are "at will" employees and are not included in the Government's Civil Service classification.
Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of progressively responsible financial experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the representative duties of this position.
- Proficiency with a wide range of technology, including Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial records.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments.
- Ability to troubleshoot errors and probable causes; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
