Responsibilities for this position include:
Develop and support SAP functionality in the business, primarily in the area of FI/CO and PP
Provide 1st and 2nd level SAP support for the local IT team
Participate in systems and integration - design, analysis and testing
Work closely with local and Corporate SAP analysts in issue identification and resolution
Work closely with local and Corporate ABAP developers to identify reported system issues
Provide assistance in the development of business requirements specifications
Provide solutions or communicate and route issues to other appropriate I.T groups including 2nd line support in Germany
Requirement for occasional business travel
Confer with internal staff and organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and processes, identify problems and paths to a solution, understanding of specific requirements such as forms of data input, how data will be summarized and used, formats for reports
Analyze information problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions in a test environment
