Position Information: Our client is seeking a talented Systems Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Active Directory environments, including Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and domain controllers.
  • Manage and support Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including identity and access management, single sign-on (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Work with Microsoft Intune to manage and deploy policies, applications, and updates to Windows and mobile devices.
  • Develop, test, and deploy application packages for software distribution across enterprise endpoints.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices related to identity and access management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of directory services and endpoint management solutions.
  • Assist with migration projects, upgrades, and integrations related to directory services, Intune, and application deployment.
  • Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT operations and align with business needs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer or Administrator role.
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory administration and Group Policy management.
  • Experience managing Entra ID (Azure AD), including role-based access control (RBAC), Conditional Access Policies, and authentication protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
  • Familiarity with application packaging and deployment using tools like SCCM, Intune, or third-party solutions.
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems, PowerShell scripting, and automation.
  • Experience with identity security best practices, including MFA, password policies, and zero-trust frameworks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document processes effectively.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or similar).
  • Experience with hybrid identity environments integrating on-premises Active Directory with Entra ID.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
  • Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
