Position Information: Our client is seeking a talented Helpdesk/ServiceDesk Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with Amplify Energy employees and contractors to resolve IT issues.
  • Prioritize and take action on assigned IT helpdesk tickets. Help triage incoming IT helpdesk cases to provide prompt support.
  • Act as an escalation point for junior helpdesk staff.
  • Use sound judgment and discretion to provide exceptional customer service, eliminate downtime and attain customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with managing VOIP phone systems.
  • User provisioning/de-provisioning and administration in Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Assist other team members in joint tasks as assigned.
  • Manage the Windows OS Environments and (Re)imaging techniques.
  • Support internal clients with audio/visual systems (conferencing systems, training room etc.)
  • Assist with occasional user moves, lifting, relocation of IT assets.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and professional aptitude by attending workshops, professional training and certifications.
  • Assist with monitoring key systems to identify and escalate support matters that need attention such as virus outbreaks, intrusion protection etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years working in a business IT support role
  • Oil and Gas experience is a plus.
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Must possess a solid understanding of:
  • PC hardware/peripheral devices
  • Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11 )
  • Microsoft Office applications including Office 365
  • Maintaining Active Directory user and computer accounts
  • Supporting mobile and tablet technologies
  • Basic networking fundamentals
  • Remote computer access support
  • Ability to manage tickets, work and time with minimal supervision
  • Solid analytical, research and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical, organizational and documentation skills required
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment.
