Office Survey Technician Pay Rate: $20-27/Hour

The Office Survey Technician will work closely with other Surveyors and Engineers and will be responsible for performing a wide range of services in the office for the support of utility, construction, and engineering related projects. This position is primarily an office-based role but work in the field may be required from time-to-time.

Skills And Experience

Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related survey experience
  • Knowledge of land surveying practices, principles, and techniques
  • Familiar with AutoCAD or Carlson Survey Software for drafting and computations
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong computer skills
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record

Preferred:

  • An associate degree in a related field
  • Familiar with boundary, topographic, construction stakeout and monitoring, utility, right-of-way, corridor and existing condition surveys, 3D modeling
  • Proficient with Carlson Survey
  • Experience with HDS scanners, UAV drones, or point clouds
