We are an exclusive provider for Toro, Club Car, Bernhard, Salsco, Harper, Ventrac, and MCI-Flowtronex and Watertronics Pump Stations in Florida and Southern Georgia. Wesco has been honored multiple times as Toro’s North American Distributor of Excellence. On August 1st, 2022, Wesco acquired Hector Turf located in Deerfield Beach expanding our market to include from Vero Beach to Key West, including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and the Caribbean Islands.

Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a business plan and sales strategy for commercial equipment in the SF&G market that ensures attainment of company sales goals, margins, and profitability.
- Develop a territory business development plan for each territory and territory manager.
- Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by the team for effective search of sales leads and opportunities.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate competitive accounts.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans, including parts, as needed.
- Responsible for the performance and development of territory managers. Conducts one-on-one annual performance review with all territory managers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of territory manager’s sales and activity performance.
- Develop and manage STMA and FLAGFA relationships and attend events and conferences.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed quotations submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintains accurate records of all accounts, quotes, and sales submitted by territory managers in SalesForce. Maintain customer quotes in CPQ quoting tool.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations, assists territory managers in preparation of proposals/presentations, and RFP responses.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines, submits weekly expense reports.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Administration
- Monitor weekly activity reports from Territory Managers and submit weekly activity reports documenting schedule and accounting of visits, what occurred, and any planned follow-up.
- Maintain Toro Extranet customer list for assigned territory
- Maintain the current Territory Plan document. Include potential new account visits, as well as planned growth with existing accounts (TY, LY, % Chg)
- Maintain file of assigned competitive equipment and programs
- Achieve 100% of PIE points for SF&G division.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and share with appropriate division associates
- Coordinate retailer training, incentive and feedback functions
- Must work closely with inside administration staff to ensure that equipment is on order.
- Assure customer service expectations are met and promote a standard of excellence in customer satisfaction. Achieve CSI overall rating of at least 8.0 for SF&G Grounds scores.
- Maintain Florida State Contract with new items and pricing updates as allowed by the state.
- Assure updated information is in the quoting tool when there are State Contract updates.
- Work with Territory Manager’s to choose strategic invitees to attend annual Toro SF&G Forum.
- Plan and execute at least 2 Field Days annually with Territory Managers to showcase Toro equipment.
- Work with the Commercial Operations Manager to maintain accurate sales forecasting and assure that the appropriate inventory is secured in a timely manner.
- Attend trips to Toro corporate headquarters as needed
- Organize, schedule and attend all SF&G tradeshows with sale staff.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and expos as they relate to purchasing, fleet management, parks & rec, turfgrass, sports fields and municipalities.
- Coordinate brochures, trade journal ads, etc as needed to support and advertise the SF&G industry.
- Participate in Ride Days with Territory Managers to visit customers, review performance, coach and develop direct reports.
- Develop strategy and tactics for expanding Ventrac wholegoods and parts in the market.
- Develop strategy and tactics for vehicle sales in the market.
