Social Media Marketing Specialist
The Luckiest Club is a sobriety support organization dedicated to helping adults get sober and thrive in a life of sobriety. We provide a dogma-free, compassionate place to recover from addiction through community, support meetings, and proven programs.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to help us grow our brand, showcase our mission, highlight our team and our programs, and connect with people who are struggling with substance use. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker who can leverage social media to engage our audience and expand our impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive consumer engagement.
- Create, edit, and post high-quality content (graphics, short-form videos, reels, stories, etc.) for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. (And other social media platforms as they emerge.)
- Manage and grow our social media presence by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful interactions.
- Highlight our team, community, and programs in an authentic and compelling way.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy and engagement.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Collaborate with our internal team to align content with our mission and brand voice.
- 3+ years of direct experience in social media marketing, with a strong portfolio of past work.
- Expertise in Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, including in-depth knowledge of their engagement tools and algorithms.
- Graphic design or video editing skills using tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or CapCut.
- Experience creating engaging multimedia content (videos, graphics, and copywriting).
- Strong understanding of analytics and ability to use data to drive content decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create authentic, mission-driven messaging.
- Ability to communicate effectively and consistently with remote teammates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Passion for sobriety and recovery; must be sober from alcohol and drugs.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Experience working with mission-driven organizations, especially in the sobriety/recovery space.
- Knowledge of email marketing, SEO, or paid social media advertising.
- Be part of a purpose-driven organization making a real difference in people’s lives.
- Work remotely with flexibility while contributing to an inspiring and supportive team.
- Help shape the public face of a growing sobriety support movement.
