This role requires a strategic financial expert with a proven track record in private equity, leading through a liquidity event, and international operations. As a critical business partner to the CEO, the ideal candidate will have the vision, expertise, and cultural alignment to drive organizational growth, enhance operational efficiencies, and improve financial outcomes in a fast-paced, leveraged environment. The ideal candidate will have exceptional internal and external financial skills and can manage a wide range of financial, analytical, and administrative issues while playing a broad, strategic role in the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting & FP&A: Provide leadership and assume accountability for all financial activities globally and accordant performance of the company, observing appropriate governing laws in the company's global geographies. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, auditing and related procedures, and establish and maintain appropriate internal controls and safeguards. Embrace the fiduciary role of a CFO by challenging business issues accordingly.

Banking & Audit Relationships: Leverage strong relationships with financial institutions to secure funding and optimize capital structure, as well as external auditors to meet annual audit completion requirements. Establish and execute appropriate risk management procedures.

Strategic Partnership & Leadership: Work as a colleague and business partner with the CEO/President and senior management team (IT, Operations, and/or Sales) on both financial and broad-based business issues related to the company's overall performance. Serve as a key member of the executive team in providing input to management peers regarding the financial implications of all major business decisions and strategic input in shaping the objectives of the business. Communicate effectively with Board members, management, shareholders, lenders and employees.

Working Capital & Cost Management: Using the most appropriate information and accounting systems available, implement and maintain disciplined financial planning and control processes to accurately report performance and exercise effective management controls regarding revenue, pricing, expenses, capital expenditures, cash flow, EBITDA, and margins.

International Team Management & Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, fostering a culture of excellence and cohesion. The ideal candidate is a leader who can command the respect and confidence of his/her team, the board of directors, investors and the executive management team and still be hands-on in the day-to-day running of the finance function.

Operational Efficiency Optimization: Provide global leadership for all financial activities, ensuring compliance with governing laws, while optimizing Infor Syteline, ERP system, to enhance operational efficiency.

Financial Strategy: Prepare for a successful exit to maximize stakeholder value. Experienced private equity CFO with a proven track record in leading through liquidity events, offering expertise and strategic insight during sale processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred, with expertise in global financial consolidations and strategic planning.

  • Experience leading full annual audits and lender compliance reporting.
  • A strong cultural fit, with the ability to build trust and act as a key business partner to the CEO. A proven record of working as a business partner with both line and staff managers. This includes success as an advisor in providing strategic and tactical support to and challenging senior management’s thinking.
  • The ideal candidate is a leader who can command the respect and confidence of his or her team, the board of directors, investors and the executive management team and still be hands-on in the day-to-day running of the finance function.
  • A fundamental understanding of and skill in designing and implementing business controls and processes, managing diverse teams across multiple regions. An ability to get data out in a pragmatic manner.
