Position Details
Under the direction of the (Sr.) Manager/Manager, the responsibilities include:
Overseeing the daily operations of assigned Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and addressing issues or developments as they arise.
Acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge of LSP operations.
Cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with LSPs and Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) at both facility and partner levels to safeguard organizational interests.
Managing and periodically reviewing agreements with LSPs to ensure effectiveness.
Escalating LSP audit findings if auditors encounter difficulties obtaining acceptable responses.
Developing and updating departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and controlled documents related to LSP/TSP management.
Collaborating with global teams, relevant departments, and networks to ensure alignment on LSP management practices.
Monitoring and owning quality records associated with LSP activities, including metrics and performance monitoring reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration or life science and 5 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
Knowledge of clinical supply chain management
Experience in using ERP systems, i.e., SAP.
Result focused and proven ability to deliver results.
Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams.
Project Management
Experience managing suppliers and improving processes.
Quick process understanding, insight and visualizing.
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Problem solver with strong sense of responsibility
Requirements
Experiences work in clinical supply chain or relevant supply chain area.
Vendor management and quality management system experiences. Experience working with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ENG QMS). Familiarity with monitoring quality records, deviation/change control, and SOP management.
