Business / QA Analyst (HP ALM/Quality Center)

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Business / QA Analyst in Albany, NY.

Description:
? Review business and functional requirements, as well as related Use Cases related to multiple Web Application and Web Services
? Create and maintain documentation in Testing Tools such as HP ALM; coordinate, create and update Knowledge Base and Application documentation
? Develop or maintain detailed test plans/test cases/test scripts from documented system requirements related to Web Services and Web applications ? Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using testing tools. Use tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, SOAP UI and POSTMAN
? Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, perform retesting as required. ? Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g. missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process. ? Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
? Lead the communication and reporting of testing results to BA Management, Application Development team, and Enterprise Architecture team
? Attend Remediation Effort meetings and communicate progress and status

Mandatory Qualifications:
? Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
? Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

? 60 months experience developing and/or maintaining system artifacts and documentation including business requirements, user, and functional requirements, project process documentation, quality assurance and contingency operations plans and reports.
? 60 months experience in obtaining and writing use cases, process models, workflows, creating screen mock-ups, report mock-ups and technical documents.
? 60 months QA experience including the following:
? Create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test scripts
? Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using HP ALM/Quality Center (or equivalent)
? Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, performing retesting as required.
? Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g. missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process.
? Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases
? 24 months experience validating requirements and executing test cases specific to web services. Experience should include using testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI or an equivalent.
