Business Development Specialist-Sales
This role will require travel, will attend events (local and national) up to 50% of their time to generate New Business Development/Sales.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and has a sales background working with Machine Learning, Software Development or Artificial Intelligence verticals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-Have:
- 1-3 years of business development experience within a Software Development, Machine Learning or A.I. company
- Professional experience with sales tech stack (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, LinkedIn Navigator, etc.)
- Strong research and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage sales objections
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to attend in-person events
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify target accounts
- Chart organizational structures for target accounts, highlighting key decision-makers
- Execute multi-channel outreach strategies (e.g., calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to pursue identified target accounts, using customized value propositions
- Attend conferences and other meaningful events to build brand awareness and connect with potential clients and contacts
- Book meetings with qualified leads for Account Executives
- Prepare briefing documentation for Account Executives
- Participate in pre-sales calls with Account Executives and Production team members
- Achieve monthly hot lead targets
Nice-to-Have:
- Deep understanding of Account Based Marketing and Selling
Professional experience in, or adjacent to, software engineering, hardware engineering, data science, and/or machine learning
