- Create and send invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare documents that are both professional and reader-friendly
- HR Support:
- Answer employee questions with the right mix of helpfulness, accuracy, and personality
- Interface with clients professionally while building genuine connections
- Help maintain our HR systems with careful attention to detail
- Assist with onboarding processes that make new hires feel welcome and prepared

What Makes You Perfect for This Role
- You genuinely enjoy working with people and solving their problems
- You're more organized than most people think is reasonable
- You can manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Your proactivity is exceptional—you solve problems before others even notice them
- You take accountability seriously, owning both your successes and the occasional misstep
- Your attention to detail catches things others might miss
- You communicate effectively in writing, on the phone, and in person
- You're comfortable with technology and adapt quickly to new systems
- You handle confidential information with absolute discretion
- You approach challenges with resourcefulness and a can-do attitude
- 2-5 years of experience in administrative, executive support, or HR roles
The Benefits of Joining Our Hive
- Flexible, part-time hours (up to 20 hours per week with the potential of increased hours in the future)
- Remote work with occasional in-person gatherings for those in the LA area
- Competitive hourly rate that recognizes your valuable skills
- A supportive team that appreciates good humor and the occasional workplace meme
- Opportunities to learn about HR consulting from industry experts
- The satisfaction of contributing to meaningful work in the HR field
While this role lets you work from your favorite cozy nook most days, we also believe in the magic of in-person connection. We are looking for someone who is based in Southern California who can soak up the sunshine along with the rest of our team (when we're not busy conquering the world from our home offices, of course!).
