Hixen Search Group is seeking an Accounting Analyst t for a growing restaurant company. The successful candidate will be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, preparation of monthly financial reports, monthly variance analysis and other various accounting duties. The Accounting Analyst works with a team of other Accountants and will report to the Director of Finance. He or she will be given the opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports for leadership
  • Budgeting & Forecasting for certain divisions of the company
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis projects centered around growth
  • Review GL entries to ensure proper use of GAAP
  • Various accounting duties as needed
