About Us:
Airsupply Tools, LLC. is a leading provider of custom tool kits for aerospace, defense, and military applications. We sell through a distribution and reseller model, partnering with trusted government contractors, military resellers, and defense-focused distributors to support DoD agencies, military bases, and aerospace manufacturers. We collaborate with key brands such as Proto, Snap-On, and Matco to deliver high-quality products for mission-oriented applications.
As we expand, we are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and onboard new channel partners that serve the aerospace and defense industry while also generating pull through demand through some direct visits to key accounts.
Position Overview:
This role will be responsible for identifying and closing new partnerships with distributors, resellers, and government suppliers that sell into commercial, military and defense markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B indirect sales, an understanding of government and aerospace procurement, the ability to navigate complex sales cycles within the DoD and defense contracting ecosystem, and established relationships with contacts in these industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify, research, and engage new distribution partners and resellers that serve the military, defense, and aerospace sectors.
- Execute outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach, to expand our channel partner network.
- Qualify potential partners based on their capabilities, certifications and existing government contracts.
- Develop account penetration strategies in partnership with channel partners.
- Work closely with marketing to develop lead generation campaigns targeting aerospace manufacturers, defense primes, and military procurement offices.
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and distributor onboarding.
- Co-sell with channel partners, visiting military bases and being the Airsupply Tools expert in direct conversation with end users and end buyers
- Drive revenue through channel sales, ensuring resellers and distributors are fully enabled to sell our products to defense contractors, DoD agencies, and military procurement teams.
- Develop strategies to increase sales through established aerospace and defense distribution channels, including government procurement programs, military base suppliers, and federal contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, DLA, NSNs, ITAR-certified distributors, etc.).
- Consistently meet or exceed quota targets while maintaining a strong pipeline of aerospace and defense resellers.
Relationship Management & Partner Enablement
- Build and maintain relationships with key distributors, resellers, and government supply chain partners that serve aerospace and defense clients.
- Train and support partners to increase product awareness and drive sales within military and aerospace organizations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in military and defense procurement, compliance, and contract management.
- Stay up to date on government procurement trends, defense industry developments, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of outbound B2B sales experience, with a focus on indirect sales, distribution models, or reseller partnerships.
- Military veteran with experience in defense/military sales preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, pipeline management, and CRM skills (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong hunter mentality – must be proactive in driving outbound sales efforts and securing new partners.
- Understanding of DoD procurement processes, GSA contracts, ITAR regulations, and aerospace industry compliance standards.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with distributors, resellers, and government suppliers.
- Familiarity with government contract vehicles (DLA, GSA, NSNs, FedMall, etc.) and aerospace procurement pathways.
