As they continue to scale, they need a strategic technical leader to drive innovation, enhance platform performance, and manage a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the development of scalable, secure, and efficient lending technology platforms.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to drive feature development and platform enhancements.
- Implement best practices for engineering excellence, including agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Balance strategic leadership with hands-on problem-solving, contributing to architecture and coding decisions when needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data security, and risk management best practices.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, creating growth opportunities within the team.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a high-growth fintech or lending startup.
- Strong background in full-stack development, with expertise in modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience managing technical teams across multiple disciplines, including engineering and product.
- Deep understanding of cloud-based architectures, microservices, and scalable infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence executive decision-making.
- Passion for financial inclusion and the mission of expanding access to credit.
Desirable Experience:
- Prior experience in consumer lending, credit risk, or financial services technology.
- Familiarity with industry compliance and regulatory requirements in the lending space.
- Experience working in a fully remote environment, managing distributed teams.
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning applications in lending and credit decisioning.
