Join us for a 12-week internship with the Global Education Strategy and Content Development team as a Learning and Development Intern.

Location: Hybrid: driving distance to IDEXX World Campus in Westbrook, Maine, on-site at least twice weekly

In this internship role you would…

  • Be exposed to the content development process from creative brief to final asset delivery
  • Work with teams from across the organization, including creative marketing, medical affairs, training, line of business, and regional marketing
  • Gain hands-on project management experience, with a key focus on collaborating with global partners on asset translation/transcreation
  • Dive deep into project management tools and translation management platforms – we want you to learn the ins and outs of these tools and platforms and uncover ways to optimize our processes
  • Contribute to program reporting – help us turbo charge our current reporting with Smartsheet saavy and data visualization prowess
  • Do work that matters: contribute to projects supporting key strategic initiatives

Day-to-day Tasks Are Likely To Include

  • Provide project management support for global education and training projects, focusing – but not limited to – asset translations: scheduling, monitoring timelines and budgets, creating progress reports and communicating via routine updates, attending meetings, and acting as liaison to internal and external partners
  • Create, review, and/or maintain project plans, timelines, and other supporting tools to track and report progress of key deliverables
  • You will create reports; maintain and update data; and create and maintain process documentation as needed for each project
  • Create dashboards to visualize data
  • Look for opportunities to better use our current project management tools and translation management platforms, i.e., automate routine tasks to increase efficiency, and to potentially use new technology tools

  • Curiosity to try new things and suggest different solutions for the team, including task automation and process optimization
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excited by the challenge of navigating a multilingual, multiregional ecosystem

Educational Requirements For The Role Include

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program majoring in Learning and Development, Project Management, Marketing, Advertising or other – we understand this skillset could be found across many majors.
  • Applicants must have completed at least one year of college.
  • A track record of student success and potential as demonstrated by GPA, research portfolio, prior work experience and/or the recommendation of a professor preferred.
