We are urgently seeking a Java Developer with an active or recently inactive MBI clearance position at the IRS Office in Maryland. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, experience working with government systems, and the ability to operate in a high-security environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications aligned with IRS standards.
- Implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application security.

Required Qualifications:
- MBI Clearance (Active or Recently Inactive) Candidates must have an active clearance or one that has expired recently and is eligible for reinstatement.
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with government agencies, IRS systems, or financial applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus.
