We are looking for a System Administrator - Data Center Technician with 5+ years of experience in data center operations, including structured cabling, fiber and copper installations, hardware setups, and troubleshooting. The role requires expertise in Level 1 & 2 support, ServiceNow ticketing, and OS troubleshooting, all while adhering to ITIL best practices for efficient data center management.
Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 & 2 support for hardware, network, and OS issues.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber/copper cabling and network equipment.
Configure security devices and manage hardware installations.
Use ITIL practices and ServiceNow for ticketing and asset management.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in a production data center environment.
Expertise in structured cabling, fiber optic installation, and copper cable testing.
Hands-on experience with network cabling, security devices, and hardware installation.
Knowledge of Windows OS and basic troubleshooting for servers and network systems.
Familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing system for incident management.
ITIL Certification (preferred) with experience in IT service management processes.
