Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Information Technology, the IT Specialist will assist in many activities within the Office of Information Technology. This position will assist in many core services offered by the office. The individual will provide administrative support to the Assistant Director of IT.
Supporting key metrics in the university’s security and risk policies and compliance standards. Providing advanced IT troubleshooting and support for faculty, staff and students and being primary lead on new deployment technologies such as Microsoft Autopilot.
The position duties may be variable and therefore, the position requires flexibility and adaptability to new work as the needs change in the unit and college. Additional duties will depend on interest and skill level and may vary from testing internal business systems, documentation help desk support. The successful candidate will foster a positive working environment.
Required Qualifications
Experience in an IT helpdesk environment actively supporting end users.
Experience with Banner data processing system and/or fixed assets.
Experience with Windows Cloud environments
Experience with Microsoft Entra Active Directory
Experience with Microsoft Intune
Experience with Microsoft Autopilot
Experience with MDT Deployment
