Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and creative Entry-Level Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team and help us engage with our audience across various social media platforms. In this position, you will support our social media strategy by creating, curating, and managing engaging content across our social media channels. You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance our online presence, build brand awareness, and drive engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content (text, images, videos) tailored for various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and engagement opportunities, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives and goals
  • Occasional Social shop inventory management and shop order review
  • Occasionally assisting customers with questions, orders, comments and reviews
  • Page and shop maintenance
  • Create content mockups and monitor licensor approval process from beginning to end

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree or higher is a plus
  • Minimum one (1) year experience managing a social media management platform (working knowledge in Sprout Social preferred)
  • Creative and marketing skills including understanding brand voice, standards enforcement
  • Minimum one (1) year experience creating content in Adobe and Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Previous experience in customer service or support is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and their features
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

The hiring range for this remote position is ($50,000.00 - $60,000.00) per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
